The Little Mermaid
A touching story about love and friendship
The little mermaid Ariel lives in the fantastic water world. She loves playing with her friends, the talking sea sponge and the cheeky fish Flounder. Arielle is happiest when she sits on the coral reef watching humans – but in secret: her father King Triton has strictly forbidden contact between the human world and the sea folk!
When a ship capsizes in a storm, Ariel saves the life of a prince – and falls in love with him. From then on, her greatest wish is to be with him. She finds help from the sea witch Ursula, who transforms her into a human for three days. In trade, she demands Ariel’s voice. If Ariel does not succeed in winning the prince’s love within this period, she will belong to the witch forever.
Will the prince recognize the girl with the enchanting voice who saved him in the mute Ariel? Will Ariel get her true love’s kiss before the sun sets on the third day? Can Flounder and the sponge help her?
