Next please, or Hypophysis to Cerebellum
A medical comedy inside the body
Mr. Meier comes to the doctor with stomach problems. A quick incision and the stomach lands on the table, immediately beginning to complain of its woes. And while the abdomen is already open, might as well carry out a general inspection.
In plain language: examination of the liver, vision test for the blind gut...
But all efforts are in vain – there is no relief for Mr. Meier’s suffering. Because, as is so often the case, the problem lies in his head. Without hesitation, the doctor embarks on a journey into Mr. Meier’s brain. Diagnosis: the cerebellum is completely overloaded! A jumble of thoughts and Meier’s weaker self demands his rights. “Real fantasies” and a slew of bizarre nightmares pop up in the subconscious. Will the doctor be able to get to the bottom of the pain?
An evening of profound comedy and the underlying statement: I am not alone with my problems.
