Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh lives in the Hundred-and-Sixty Acre Wood with his friends: the neat-freak Rabbit, the timid Piglet, the grumpy Eeyore, and the precocious Owl. Pooh describes himself as a bear of little brain, but in this little world, no one makes fun of him. Everyone has their quirks and is allowed to be just as they are. Together, they search for the Heffalump or gather around a delicious pot of honey – and sometimes even get stuck in the front door bloated with too much food.

There’s great excitement when Kanga and Roo want to move into the forest. Will the little community welcome strangers? Aren’t Kangas far too dangerous?

Freely based on A.A. Milne’s children’s classic, Sven Mathiasen tells and performs a story about community and respect for one another’s quirks. With simple means, just stuffed animals and his music, he brings the wonderful world of the Hundred-and-Sixty Acre Wood to life.
