Dinosaur Lady

This performance recounts the story of paleontologist Mary Anning, who discovered dinosaur fossils along the English coast when she was just a young girl. Throughout her life, Mary searched for fossils to research and study. But in the early nineteenth century, it was nearly impossible for a girl from a poor background to stand her ground in the male-dominated world of science. People nicknamed her the “Princess of Paleontology.”
